Spring Cleaning

Today (or rather yesterday since it is 1.31am now) I took a leave to do 3 things

1) Have KFC breakfast with Siong

2) Go for driving which has to be of a very weird timing which I can't take a am or a pm leave

3) Spring Cleaning

And here's the result

1) We woke up so late, I was even late for driving! KFC BREAKFAST!!!!! Siong you gotta have KFC breakfast with me next week ok!

2) As usual

3) I got home from a good lunch with NK at 3.30pm and fell aslp till about 7.30pm. Finally started packing at 8.30pm after some net browsing. Spent most of the time washing clothes instead.. haiz..

I've gotta find another day to finish everything up, definitely by this weekend coz I'm gonna do my manicure on Monday. I hate Spring Cleaning. But Spring cleaning makes my mom shut up and Siong happy. Haiz.

Which is worse?

A: A materialistic but honest person.
B: A down-to-earth person who lies.

Who to call when you find a dead cat.

I know this may seem like a weird post but I hope it comes useful one day to anyone who finds a dead cat in Singapore, like the way I did along the way to work.

No you do not call the SPCA or the AVA/Centre for animal welfare and control. They only deal with animals that are still alive and breathing.

Call the NEA (National Environmental Agency) at 1800-225-5632 and they will take care of it.

P.S. You have to know the exact location of the dead cat so that they will know where to go and clear it.

New Year, New Resolutions

It's been a long time since I have actually blogged. Life's been very busy, but pretty standard. I have been working hard at work recently rushing for a upcoming major event and doing up proposals and what to do for next year. When I am not in office, I am in my driving instructor's car trying to learn how to drive well.

Bad news is I failed my first test yesterday. Luckily I have myself mentally prepared already. My instructor haven't been all good and I could never understand the circuits.

I had wanted very much to blog about my happenings actually... all the things that happened in the workplace (it's getting pretty weird and frustrating and the rosy picture at work is revealing it's thorns)... how glad I am to have a very understanding and mature boyfriend... how I decorated a christmas tree and placed presents under it for the very first time in my life... how I received embraces from a family for the very first time for all the New Years I've been through....how although with all these lovely and wonderful thing happening around me, I still a suffocating woman's shadow at the back of my mind.

Shawn and I came up with our New Year resolutions this year and we are going to turn it into a really cool scrapbook! Will take pictures of em and have them posted up soon!

Gonna slp soon!Gotta start on my new year resolution tml morning- excercise at least twice a week!
