After attending the last lesson for my BS802 and that all lessons are prob gonna end next week, I suddenly felt really blessed and am once again reminded that I must treasure friends who are really true and good to me... who are there to help me especially when I feel all alone...

The semester began really badly, the breakup, feeling of betrayal from people who really could have potentially been my groupmates (phew) .I was also on the verge of breakdown when I could not get any electives and then was the super heavy load I was holding in NTU wushu and the commitment in my Loreal Brandstorm competition.

Now that the semester is ending, I've got another group which is super efficient and kind in replacement... I got BioBiz which is simply the most enjoyable elective that I could have ever taken in NTU... truly appreciated. I ended my commitments in NTU wushu and today when I went back for the last lesson, I got this heart warming farewell card from the boys and girls. My commitment for loreal is also less of an obligation now that I have made my stand rather clear.

I've even took up dancing again... something that I only do good and well when I have good company and when I am happy... I am also learning a new sword form which I have been yearning to learn for soooooo long =D... I have also got more muscles now... though it's uneven-ness can be quite disturbing.... and today I finally got those raisin cream bread from Chinatown, although for totally different purposes, but better ones I feel.

3 months into year 2010, 3 months since I watched the 2010 New Year's Day fireworks... just 3 months... and I felt like I have walked through 3 years... One day I was happily in Malacca thinking of the sacrifices and then the next thing I knew I am moving on. I remembered picking up gambling at the beginning of the year and going crazy over it then suddenly just dropping it altogether. I remember crying to sleep almost everynight and now I wanna sleep and hope the alarm clock never rings. I remember Joseph's call to KL pestering about FYP and today I just had the complete copy submitted to the library.

The way I am spending my time is totally different now. I really am happier, freer and finding my temper and myself back. But I do feel that everything is moving too fast... 3 years in 3 months... everything needs to slow down cuz my mind's not catching up anymore...

and my sleep is really lagging behind too!!! PIMPLES!

I went to visit a TCM clinic late this afternoon upon mom's summon. By simply pressing this pen like thing on several points around my plam and feet, the machine amazingly produced a 3 page results of my health status.

Most of the results are in Red.

My mom asked if I belive it or not. Well, I agree I've been collating sleep debts recently, but it really can't be helped. Ask any undergrad and they'll know what I am talking about. Other than that, I really think the results is totally exxagerated and being a marketing student who is well taught in transforming a resume into a personal sales letter and a biological report into a marketing report, I think it's just a matter of where you place the red and green boundary lines. It's just up to the reader to believe. And I don't. I just need to drink more water and get more sleep. Not take more pills or go for your theraphy or anything like that.

I usually have TCC with friends... but today's special. I brought my bro and mom to TCC ... glad they liked the food and coffee! I recommended them my personal favs... and decided to go adventurous for awhile, only to order fish soaked in WASABE. haiz... really should have read the description... it was written in the menu!

I got another $50 Robinsons voucher from mom again today! =D KHIELS and MARKS AND SPENCERS here I come!!! !!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NK contacted me at about 10pm... asking what I have on later... saying he is attending his cousin's wedding currently.

I know exactly whats coming next... tts the way he asks me out...

Recently I did alot of things that surprise myself... one of which is to not be ever-ready for him this once... he wants more drinks and I know he wants my company... he couldn't have had the diary with him... I don't want to ride on a bike after drinks and having to prepare myself mentally that I may lose my hands, legs and even my life again... I don't want to anymore... the truth is it frightens me... I watch out for the road. For a 30 min trip home I'm on 'ready to pounce off mode'.

I just didn't reply to his sms. But I'm glad to see that he is online - meaning he is safe, home.

I am writing in a new diary tonight.

wu wu wu wu!!!

Jazz was cool today! I really need to train up on my basics! I feel so out of shape! I even span into someone else's lane!!!!! so pai seh and the teacher was shouting..."no cutting lanes ar!!!!"

The dance was cool too though i felt everything was too fast and could not really catch up. I'ld have preferred a slower jazz though... not so slow like ballet, but just abit slower than today's rocket speed, i was just throwing my hands all over in the air! Got afew pink bruieses on the top of my feet too ='(

I'ld also like to stay back after class to practise, but it does not seem like the culture there... oh wells, there's lots of reflective areas in NTU =D

suddenly....

once again....

Need & Greed

Once in a while I get good emails are really worth sharing.

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican fishing village. A tourist complimented the local fishermen on the quality of their fish and asked how long it took him to catch them.

"Not very long." they answered in unison.

"Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?"

The fishermen explained that their small catches were sufficient to meet their needs and those of their families.

"But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

"We sleep late, fish a little, play with our children, and take siestas with our wives. In the evenings, we go into the village to see our friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs. We have a full life."

The tourist interrupted, "I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you! You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."

"And after that?"

"With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City , Los Angeles , or even New York City ! [ From there you can direct your huge new enterprise."

"How long would that take?"

"Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years." replied the tourist.

"And after that?"

"Afterwards? Well my friend, that's when it gets really interesting, " answered the tourist, laughing. "When your business gets really big, you can start buying and selling stocks and make millions!"

"Millions? Really? And after that?" asked the fishermen.

"After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take a siesta with your wife and spend your evenings drinking and enjoying your friends."

"With all due respect sir, but that's exactly what we are doing now. So what's the point wasting twenty-five years?" asked the Mexicans.

And the moral of this story is:
Know where you're going in life.... you may already be there!

kyo wa Fruitful desu!

I thought that today was a rather fruitful day having completed many tasks with well done marks and therefore decided that I should reward myself with a Kinder Surprise which I got from BHG sale two days ago only to see ants pouring out from the egg like thing.

What a surprise.

I should have known better not to leave em on the table where I always suspected there's an ant nest lurking somewhere within the wooden room... but still...

Had a whole new experience today...though I don't really know what I should write about it other than stating that its a whole new experience with much I cannot comprehend.

Anyways.. here's something I want to share ^.^

Heart of Gratitude

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"

The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way."
I wrote: "Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it."

Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have.. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.

When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.

The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling…

And even more beautiful is, knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!

Enjoy your day with a heart of gratitude.

I know that there were many things that I have taken forgranted for and therefore lost it. There are also things that I have now which I should know I should be more grateful and that I may lose it one day, but there is just this tendency and habit which I cannot change. And when its lost, I can only regret the way I am expecting myself to be, and still not do anything about it coz sometimes, things are just better the way they are simply coz it cannot be anywhere worst.
And yet, the things that I've lost, I cry yearn beg, halfhearted though coz partly I know I don't have the right to, partly coz I just don't know what to do.

For the benefit of friends who still want to ask me out...

Neuroticism / Emotional Stability:

Neuroticism is the tendency to experience negative emotions, such as anger, anxiety, or depression. It is sometimes called emotional instability. Those who score high in neuroticism are emotionally reactive and vulnerable to stress. They are more likely to interpret ordinary situations as threatening, and minor frustrations as hopelessly difficult. Their negative emotional reactions tend to persist for unusually long periods of time, which means they are often in a bad mood. These problems in emotional regulation can diminish the ability of a person scoring high on neuroticism to think clearly, make decisions, and cope effectively with stress.

At the other end of the scale, individuals who score low in neuroticism are less easily upset and are less emotionally reactive. They tend to be calm, emotionally stable, and free from persistent negative feelings. Freedom from negative feelings does not mean that low scorers experience a lot of positive feelings.

I scored a LOW 2.8. hahas!

Which means I am rather far from suddenly bashing anyone up or crying while standing beside you. =)
